We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to each and everyone who played a part in making our Wedding the most memorable day ever! Our day was absolutely stunning and it was all because of you. All your staff were organized, professional, pleasant and helpful! Well done to everyone and I can see why people have such good things to say about Thaba.

I would like to say thanks to Theo for arranging the restaurant like you did, all your staff were amazing and every single person who attended the dinner commented on the food, arranging of the restaurant and excellent service!!!!!!! WOW you guys were amazing.

We cant say thank you enough for all that you have done for us and we wouldn't have had such an amazing time if it wasn't for everyone at Thaba Ya Batswana!
You guys really outdid yourselves and went the extra mile for us for that we are extremely grateful!

We will recommend Thaba to everyone we know and it is still by far most amazing venue that I have seen!

We really cant say THANK YOU enough!! It was truly a dream wedding and more!

Absolutely magical wedding 30th April 2011

In my first critical email I mentioned that we had looked at 20 or so other venues, now we know why we chose TYB.
Not only was the venue and views spectacular, but the service and support we got from Nkina and other TYB staff was of a very high standard.

We were not disappointed with the food either, and indeed there were just so many aspects of planning a normal wedding that were just taken care of by TYB and we thank you for that.

My business partner will be contacting you sometime in the near future as he wants to renew his marriage vows and is planning to use the same venue.

Many thanks and I am sure we will be visiting TYB again

Hi Guys,

Huge thanks for a LOVELY function on Saturday.

Of particular commendation was the FOOD! Vincent and his sous-chef (and team) produced an outstanding meal!

Most of our guests commented on the superb quality and presentation of the food, and many of them are “Italians”, who are used to the BEST foods, and notoriously hard to please!

So a SPECIAL THANK YOU to Vincent and his sous-chef (sorry, I’ve forgotten his name).

Another SPECIAL thanks goes to Siswe (I think he was the event manager on the day?) - for his professionalism, ‘can-do’ attitude and most competent handling of staff and events on the day.

I feel that I need to mention a specific instance, when the wedding cake had not arrived (no fault of anybody at TYB), and in desperation I approached him for help. He was extremely caring about the situation, and immediately went about arranging a cake to be baked and decorated so that the bride and groom would have something to cut.

As it turned out, the wedding cake arrived after all – but his caring and willingness to offer a solution to the problem impressed me HUGELY.

A better example of GREAT SERVIVE cannot be found – THANK YOU Siswe.

The staff in general must also be commended for their friendliness and wonderful attitude, your staff is to be highly commended – we had many overseas guests and TYB made us proud to offer a superb African experience in line with the best in the world.

I couldn't have chosen a better venue for my wedding. I also didn't have one compliant about the food, everything worked out brilliantly except for the DJ but that was out of yours and my control.

I hope you are a bit rested after such a hectic week last week.

My and I would just like to send their greatest gratitude and thanks to you and your colleagues for such a splendid occasion we had on Saturday. The wedding went very well and everyone loved the food and the venue was superb. Your bathrooms are so great that at one stage I took a few pictures in there as it was pouring with rain and we were trying to improvise.

The waiters and waitresses were great and did a good job. Thanks to Mr. Blom as well. He was a real spot and did a great job making sure we were happy.

I will definitely recommend some brides to you in future.

Now that the dust has settled, and life returns to normality, I would just like to take this opportunity to express my families sincere thanks for the professional manner in which you handled our daughters wedding on the 17th December 2009.

Coupled with magnificent weather on the day, everything ran so smoothly, we could not have wished for better. We got nothing but good responses from our guest, and everybody was blown away with our choice of venue.

We certainly were able to show our overseas guest (and there were

We need to compliment first of all yourself! You were a great help, you were always calm, always ready to help and i bugged you quite often in the day!!! Thank you Nkina we enjoyed the wedding so much, the venue was absolutely stunning!
 


Vincent needs to be complimented we got so many calls from guests complimenting that the food was so awesome! They haven't tasted such good food at a wedding before.

The food was fabulous and exceeded our expectations! It was delicious!!
 


To TYB staff who were great on the evening and that took care of the main table and all of its guests, Blom was super!
 

It was absolutely fabulous! We loved the venue, what more can we say it was AWESOME!!!!

Good day,

I have been in the wedding industry for 13 years and I must tell you it was one of the best days for me. You all knew that I was absolutely exhausted, having received the guest list at 11.30 pm. On the Friday night, you stood by me and helped lighten my load!

I arrived at the venue on Friday and bless Blom. He and his team workers had set the tables, folded the napkins, orange ribbons and all! Thank you Blom. You are a star, and not to mention you’re outstanding running of the function, on the Saturday night.

Jazz and Francois were on the ball. They new exactly what had to be done, what had to be moved, pushed, tugged, twisted, and at what time. Thanks guys you are a great team.

Zinhle "THE CHEF” When we came through to discuss the starter she was open to anything we wanted. Accommodating in every way.

The complements for the food at the wedding were unbelievable. Tasty and plentiful", Zinhle ! You and your team outdid yourselves."

Last but not least … Tersia. I was very pleased when you came on board half way through all the discussions. Your pleasant manner and humor made things easier to handle.

One thing that co-coordinators of venues do not realize is that a wedding coordinator has influence. If we are treated in a cool and arrogant manner by the venue coordinator, we will not promote that venue.

I felt I knew you for years. I could phone anytime, and you were always pleasant and helpful. I cannot thank you all enough. Hope to work with you all again.

Good morning Maruis,

This thank you e-mail is long over-due. Better late than never, isn’t it?

My husband and I got married at your venue, in Tswana Kraal, on 20 November 2010. It was the best day of my life (like more brides), more so since everything happened just as I had imagined and wanted it. We would like to thank Nkina Ntoahae for the effort and passion she overtly displayed and her hard work in co-ordinating our wedding for it to turn out the way it did. Without her as my dedicated wedding co-ordinator, I would have been lost. My husband often says, Nkina is a very special lady to have managed to work with a control freak like me and live to tell the story.

Our friends and relatives haven’t stopped talking about our white wedding and the beauty of the venue. Not forgetting to mention that in January 2010, Nkina helped me host my sister’s 30th birthday party in Tswana Kraal. This I did as a test to see if Thaba Ya Batswana could be fitting to be our chosen venue for our special day. You passed with flying colours.

You have a great team there, especially Nkina who transformed my dream into a reality.
